... *sighz* ... first day at gap ... ... ... - ! -
! FFFFLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!! luckily however, i missed it ... oh, excuse me, 'what's a flow?' you ask?
"flow" - when the season changes, a store has to get new clothes ... this involves removing *all* the old clothes from the store, and replacing them *all* with a shietload of new clothes ... in other words, they're *completely* renovating the store
pardon me, let me start from the begining:
Rey: hi, is rosanna there?
Gap: sorry, she's no longer in the store, she got transfered to another branch
Rey: oh, well cuz, she offered me a job last week, but i couldn't make it for training ... and she didn't call me back
Gap: oh i'm sorry, there was probably a communication problem ... can you start today?
that was my friday night, after watching Macbeth, it was kinda kool working at the gap. hours: Fri. night 6-10 ; Sat. 9-6 ((that's opening to close =S ))
my responsibilites included: unpacking clothes from boxes, restacking clothes in the store - after i get trained my responsibilites will include: greeting customers, fitting room superviser, and eventually cashier
now lemme spit some numbers at you:
pay: $7.00/hour
hours per week: approx. 15-20
employee discounts: 50% off regular merchandise, 30% off sales
frequency of discount use: *haven't asked yet* maybe only once or twice per month
so now you know the statistics ... please don't ask me for discounts ...
